This is the 24th winter for my 1984 M325, I drove my BMW in the winter for the first 12 years of its life, but since moving to Red Rock I have been able to take the car off the road for the winter months because I could walk or ride my bike to work. The Bimmer looks and runs great and has been very reliable over the many years, I love pushing it hard but have tried to take it easy on the old babe but it love to go and it a lot of fun to play with. The snow has it the ground and I like to put it away before the salt its the roads which has happened already and I need to get an oil change before it goes to sleep, so this will be a challenge to get to the service location on a dry day with minimal exposure to the salt. The BMW has 358,000 km's and I only use 100% synthetic oil like Mobil 1 or Syntec to best protect my investment and it seems to work for me because as hard as I push this BMW, the engine has never failed me an does not show any signs of burning any oil. I would like to describe my car in greater detail if anyone is interested, but at this time I will just say that I will be waiting for the warm spring days to come so I can bring my BMW back to life again for an other season of the ultimate driving experience.
